In 1999, the First Christian Church of Niagara Falls and the Lewiston Baptist Church merged, creating the United Baptist-Christian Church. The two churches had covenanted in 1979 to share a pastor and a strong cooperative bond grew between them. UBCC is a Christ-centered church that accepts the Bible as the supreme written source of truth for Christian faith and action. It teaches that God is love, that Jesus is the way to true life, that God's Holy Spirit is promised to all of His children.
UBCC practices immersion into Jesus of those who place their trust in Him. In remembrance of His sacrifice for our sin, each Sunday communion is served with thanksgiving.
This congregation is affiliated with both the American Baptist Church and the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
